Syracuse has released its depth chart for Central Michigan. Most notable: Broyld as starting H-back over Estime:

Stephen Bailey ‏@Stephen_Bailey1 1m
Also see Corey Winfield took Juwan Dowels' spot as the fourth corner, Isaiah Johnson listed at DE, Omari Palmer slotted to start at LG.

Stephen Bailey ‏@Stephen_Bailey1 49s
Also, woah, freshman Steve Ishmael listed as WR1 ahead of Jarrod West. Adrian Flemming is the other starter.

Ish over West is a surprise, he must really be doing something in order to garner that type of a move...

I wish Ashton could find a spot on the field to settle into. IMO he's not the type of guy you want to put all of these different responsibilities on. Find his spot and keep him there, letting him get comfortable. That being said, he looked good in the slot against Nova, if we can get him the ball.

Johnson and Thompson are our two most talented DL, however you get them on the field, just do it.

I'm not a fan of our RB depth chart right now.

Hope Hunt finds his groove.

I agree with you and think the slot is his best spot. I don't think he's a guy that can take advantage of match-ups against LB/S or nickel CB's. Would be nice to see him and Estime next to one another running the rub routes with Estime breaking out and Ashton cutting into the middle of the field.

Is this the goofy chart that shows the players by academic year?

Anyway, let's just win this football game somewhat comfortably. I'd like to see the younger guys make an impact and think it's cool it seems Ish is making a move, but mostly I just want to see points on the board and a solid W.

they could just go 4 wide.

sloan has always been the backup. i think the bigger move is Coleman to 2nd string behind Crume. Thompson starting at DT and bumping Isaiah Johnson to end. sloan backing up thomspon at DT.

Miller starting center. Nick Robinson on the 2 line.

Ishmael over West im surprised. He did drop an easy pass last weekend. I'll assume his week at practice was real good.

I don't think Sloan is anything more than a depth player at this point, so the fact that Williams hasn't passed him yet is a bit disappointing.

If its the pass I'm thinking of really early in the game, it was thrown way over his head I thought. Or am I missing the easy pass you're talking about.

Mr. Crume says hello. ; )

Ish over West is more surprising, IMO

The only surprise for me is that he didn't start against Villanova. Kid is an impact player.

Ish is going to be special. I pointed him out several times watching the Nova game. We're extremely lucky he chose SU.

I'm more shocked by Cooper bypassing Dowels. Hope he's further along than I would expect given his short time at the position, but we've seen it too many times over the last 3 years where a CB would be out of position and it results in a long TD. Here's to hoping it's too soon and kudos to him for putting in the effort.

Thompson at DT given his size is odd to me. I thought he'd be a dynamite DE.

Any word on Brisly? Hope everything is ok with him, but moving Ashton over there makes me a little worried.

I have a feeling that Estime's injury is far worse than originally thought. Imo, that is the only thing that could keep him off the field i.e. limited snaps.
