I think there is enough to see some depth on the defensive side of the football. Backups on the defense who look good- Coley, Stritz, Jones, Berry, Jonathan, Tuazama looked good. Dino's recruits are showing signs, but he is hesitant to play them early in their careers. Even Benson and Bergeron look very good on the offensive side of the football. Mikel Jones is all over the field. I also saw Cantin-Arku playing a bunch today.

Clearly we are weak on the offensive line, but maybe those Dino recruits develop it will works wonders for the defense.

Benson, physically, looks like a college TE. Combine it with his speed and he's going to be a great weapon in this offense. We haven't seen that wrinkle in the Babers offense here. He had someone like Benson at Bowling Green but not here.

He did (Ravian). But he was a chucklehead on and off the field

I loved that Elmore played DT today. Seems much more valuable there and curious why it didn’t happen earlier. We have two TEs that are real weapons. Elmore can still play O in spots.

I didn’t see much Bergeron but all for experimenting. Where is the weak spot on the line? Which individual or just not clicking? I know Sevais and Adams can play.

Probably because both TEs were unproven commodities in the preseason; not the case anymore.

Which means that shifting Elmore into more of a dual role isn't a big deal. Hackett being a legit blocking / receiving threat made this possible.

It comes down to the OL

I'd find a spot for Bergeron and roll with it
I didn’t watch the part of the game where Bergeron was in, how was he physically? Was he actually getting a solid consistent push? It can’t be hard to be better then some current starters now I must say.

Bergeron and Vettorello are going to battle for the RT job next season (assuming Servais finally can stay at LT).

Loved seeing Kendal Coleman run down a HC RB from behind. Wish we had a motor and speed like that at LB, although Army had a good game with 8 tackles and 2 or 3 TFL's. Nice to see Richards get some reps at the mike before he got tossed.

I hope we see Berg, Tisdale, both start. I know everyone loves Vet but he has a long ways to go.

Yeah, and this was an underrated part of that bad call - the kid who we want to see get more minutes lost a ton of developmental time because he got tossed.

Hope he gets more going forward, though he looked good.

Puzzled why Richards doesn’t get more run at LB given issues there. Always seems to be making plays and has an awesome showing against WVU. What’s keeping him off the field?
