Coleman spent 15 years in the NBA with the New Jersey Nets, Philadelphia 76'ers, Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons.

Coleman would be named to the Big East Conference 25th anniversary first team in 2004, and to the [URL='http://www.orangehoops.org/AllCenturyTeam.htm']Syracuse University All Century team[/URL] in 2000. His [URL='http://www.orangehoops.org/RetiredUniforms.htm']uniform was retired [/URL]by Syracuse University in March 2006.
