We know JB plays 7. Five are solid 4 Star talent (one service rated Cooney 3 Star). The other two are McDAAs. Richardson and Lydon are now into the Soph minutes played zone.

Nobody we have beaten so far matches our talent resume, including UV. However, UNC is in another league. Roy uses 8 players. Six are McDAAs and the other two are solid 4 Stars. Fortunately in the two times we have played them this season, we took them close. Our team is hotter now. I think we can take them today.

We should root for Oklahoma to win. Henson plays seven. Cousins is only a 2 Star talent (when was the last time a 2 Star played for us?). Woodard and Spangler are 3 Star recruits and the other three are solid 4 Stars. Walker (Canadian) is unrated. They have no McDAAs. Oklahoma has a much inferior talent resume to us.

Jay Wright plays 8. They are all solid 4 Star talent, with the exception of Darryl Reynolds who is a 3 Star and of course their McDAA Jalen Brunson (2015). They are just a notch lower than us in the talent resume.

It will be a challenge today, but based on talent alone, if we squeak past UNC, we should win this whole thing.

I have reserved confidence about our chances tonight. I say reserved only because I have zero faith in a fairly officiated game.

I've been thinking about that. I would think if the NCAA had their choice, they would not want UNC to cut down the nets -- Emmert has already said the investigation should be completed within the next month -- I hightly doubt they want their champion to have a massive black mark (ours is way less severe). Of course, that could mean they won't punish UNC at all either.

UNC is going to pound us down low, there is no doubt we will pick up somefouls. I'm more worried about our penetrators getting to the rim, getting hacked, and nothing being called

Or it could mean that Villanova is destined to win the National Championship this year.

Sign me for OU on Monday if we win tonight, 100%.

Wright knows the zone - so do some of those players. They are deep, physical and can shoot -- not to mention they have guards all over the place.

Let's give OU 1 day to prepare for the zone and I like our chances against Hield. OU has weapons around him, but if we slow down Buddy (which I think we can) you have to like our chances -- and I think we will have an easier time getting points against OU than Nova

High school ratings of players are irrelevant at this point. And looking ahead to possible opponents on Monday serves no purpose. Win the game at hand.

Rebound the basketball at both ends. Stay out of foul trouble. Take care of the ball. Hit some threes. Finish at the rim when given the opportunity. Don't get beat in transition.

If SU does most of those things, they will likely advance.
