The excuses are predictable and increasingly given. Bad OL, bad receivers who run the wrong routes and can’t catch, penalty after penalty, bad coaching, etc. All of this is true to a degree. But what isn’t true is that none of the problems are due to TD’s decision-making and “feel for the game”.

The third part of this is emotion as in “TD is a tough kid” and the critics are miserable people. They have painted themselves into an emotional corner and they are unlikely to be coaxed out of it.

How anyone can predict future greatness (see post above) based on what we have seen to date requires a lot of “belief in the absence of facts”.

You can believe what you want. My expectations are significantly downscaled. If I were Dino Barbers, I’d be looking for a Plan B at a minimum as a back-up. We’ll see what happens and what he does.
