I believe the University was extremely late with their approach to the NIL and the changes made to recruiting. Coach Brown came from Georgia , where he was exposed to a program that taught him an approach that can work. He had very thorough plans of how to compete in this new market place. Red came in when the University wasn’t ready to compete with the big boys! Red is playing catchup. Talent wins. He needs the University to get him the resources to compete at the highest level. We have enough money to receive some talent, but not enough to fill the roster. That is why they are trying to find under the radar talent and not getting the proven players!
