Dick Stockton retiring after 55 years

He has one of those voices that is so smooth and professional (similar to guys like Dick Enberg, etc.) that you forget he's even calling the game.

Gonna miss listening to Dick. Not a lot of true professionals around like him.

I hope he has a wonderful retirement and stops by Newhouse now and then to help pass on what he has learned to future generations.

Him and Tom Heinsohn, Billy Cunningham were great.
Then on TNT with Hubie Brown.

Always a pro.
His FOX NFL was good but at the end the guy lost his fastball.

You always got a good broadcast when Stockton handled the PBP.

Good career. Marty Glickman and Dick Stockton started Broadcast U.

It was a great call.
