Gonna miss listening to Dick. Not a lot of true professionals around like him.He has one of those voices that is so smooth and professional (similar to guys like Dick Enberg, etc.) that you forget he's even calling the game.
Probably should put Marv Albert on that list too. He is a year younger than Dick.Dick Stockton on the CBS NBA broadcasts was awesome.
Him and Tom Heinsohn, Billy Cunningham were great.
Then on TNT with Hubie Brown.
Always a pro.
His FOX NFL was good but at the end the guy lost his fastball.
You always got a good broadcast when Stockton handled the PBP.

I have heard his call of the Carlton Fisk GW HR in game 6 1975 WS.Early start as Red Sox tv pbp with Hawk Harrelson.
