did ohio st. and coach urban meyer really agree to a contract

As a OSU fan behind the Cuse, I am excited because he is a great coach, but 6 mil is just too much chedda for a college coaching job. If that's true he makes as much as the highest paid NFL guys. It's creating a unfair advantage in the market, between the factories and the other guys. I guess that's how it always is in sports between the have and have nots. Sad for the state though that that money is being used for a coach and not for more important things. I get that he brings in a lot of money to offset that payment as well!

Didn't he "retire" due to pressure and stress? Ohio State is a much bigger job than Florida. At Ohio State he HAS to beat Michigan. He'll have a much larger paycheck to live up to. Ohio State is a larger school than Florida.
If he truly had to quit due to stress last time, I'd give him 3 years at OSU.
