I think Boeheim wants the slow tempo because of our short rotation and I strongly disagree with it. I see no other reason to play so slow. We did the same thing against NC State and the only thing that saved us is... wait for it... pressuring the ball! Imagine that.
There is literally nothing about the makeup of this team that suggests we are better suited for a slowdown game than an uptempo game. Ennis can handle either, Grant sucks when he thinks about what he's doing, Fair is the same (so faster = better), Cooney could probably benefit from some fastbreak threes, Rak wants to dunk on somebody (I would assume), and Keita doesn't have a say on offense.
