Didn't we recruit this guy?

Yes, pretty heavily for awhile I think. Then he didn't take care of his side of the deal ,grades, and we laid off. I believe he was academically ineligible for the fall semester and just started playing in the spring semester.

Social media is such a double edged sword for these kids. You or I can vent our frustrations on Facebook and no one cares. But these kids all crave fame and notoriety so they accept everyone on Facebook and have their Twitter accounts public, and don't realize that among their followers are both people will retweet what they say, screen grab it, or even writers who will grab it and run with it for a column.

It seems like in this day and age, schools would be wise to bring in a PR person to speak with players prior to the start of every season.

He was teammates with Waiters at Life Center, and he was very high on us, I liked his game, saw some videos on him, looked good. I guess we now know why we didnt offer him or take him...attitude!

I thought it came down to him, Rak and Davis. Some were saying hes not aggressive enough and backed away early leaving Rak and Davis out there.

Then Davis got paid 150 thousand and the ncaa decided since it was kentucky not to bother with them. Espn decdied not to run a story on it. Three coaches came forward stating the obvious.
Then Davis decomitted from kentucky probably because the heat was hot.

Soon after Rak commited. Then Davis recommited to kentucky proabbly with a nice bonus.

Sounds like Life Center has to do a little better job of living up to its name and not just spit out kids with a sense of entitlement.

Yeah, Ross I remember was hyped up way back in his sophomore H.S. season. I think he may have even been Top 5 at some point. Then I remember him getting some poor reviews by the recruitniks at various games/tourneys. Mostly lack of effort, settling for jumpers, lazy, etc. I remember thinking back then that he sounded like a VERY poor man's Donte Greene. Glad we passed on him.
