This season is independent, from my perspective.  And it factors in the offseason / roster construction, and the level of play [or lack thereof] to date.  And whereas I felt hopeful last year, most of that is now gone based on what I'm seeing unfold.

I don't think there's a quick fix, and I don't see our coaching staff being adequate to "coach" this squad up to an improved level of play.
