Dino releases statement

He may be right, but I'm not convinced yet. I still think it's 50/50. And I'm still hearing about another coach still to be interviewed.
It certainly seems like Babers is the guy, and my guess is he's accepted subject to working out the details after the MAC game. That would explain the deafening silence.

Turns out the head coach at my school knows him from back in the day, in Arizona, and Brian Ward is actually the connection that got this guy (the defensive coordinator here) his job here when our head coach was hired. What a small world, college football coaching.

EDIT: Turns out my head coach here is actually a good friend of Ward's. Says he's a good coach and an even better man. But sadly, didn't drop any hints and doesn't sound like he actually knows anything ("I've been wondering where he'll wind up").

It IS a small world apparently!

th
Milly asked you not to share this picture with anyone. Bahamas was nuts.
I must admit - Millhouse has nice ankles.

Dino might. If Dino does dino-mite!

Coach Mac was a mature guy when he took over. Babers is similarly situated and seems to be a good fit the in the hyperbolic world of college football. I hope we have the pleasure of seeing him succeed.

Sorry getting back to you so late (I didn't know how alerts worked.) Yes it was Syracuse native and B-Movie actor William Lundigan. Wow, great facial recognition. You should work for the NSA. I've decided he's too esoteric for this forum and have opted for perhaps our greatest 44 in Bball form.

LOL - funny, actually we're related to the Lundigan's (shirt tail cousins). He was an SU grad who passed the bar exam, played basketball, football and tennis for SU but never practiced law after being "discovered" and sent to Hollywood shortly after graduation.
