Shrader was offered by Bama, the team that is on the greatest CFB run in the history of CFB. He has immense talent that, when harnessed correctly, translates to production on the field. He has great vision, is probably too tough for his own good and while his throwing form isn't perfect (I know you can argue release point, etc), he still gets the ball where it needs to go and after those first few drops in game 1, the WRs are making catches. Does that mean we're ready to take on UGA and Bama right now? No, of course not. But with our offense operating with the weapons and execution it has, plus our D being solid, plus our kicking game getting us points on the board relentlessly... it should mean that if we are even with a team we are facing and us not turning the ball over or committing 18 penalties, we should be able to get points up on that board. Purdue is a good team. No doubt. They can definitely beat us. But I truly expect a win and this game being the "ok, Cuse is legit, let's pay attention" in the national media.
