Dino Babers stepping up to the podium momentarily for his weekly news conference. We'll have updates here.
Dino: No update on Dungey. Don't know he'll be available for BC game. Hopeful he will be.
Dino: Dungey, Dino and DeVito were in the hot tub talking about the game on Sunday. Dungey even got into the hot tub by himself, Dino said, with a smile.
Dino: BC is a fantastic football team. One of the most physical teams in the conference.
Dino: We're not even thinking about a bowl game. That's how you get knocked out in a fight. This is a big game. This is not a freebie.
Dino: ND loss is just what happens when your team moves through stages.

Not sure what that means. Any ideas?
How can anyone watch a Dino PC and not love him?

If you listen to beginning of Dazzler PC, you can hear how much respect he has for Dungey. Man-Crush respect.
Awesome.OttoInGrotto - Babers said BC plays like a team out of the 1950s or 1960s. I think he meant it as a compliment?
If you watch the whole thing - he was saying it's just a growth thing. He and the staff feel like they are ahead of schedule - but you need to go through some experiences to learn how to take advantage of them. Used the idea that last year we lost a bunch of close games, this year we're winning them. The program is growing though some stages.
Basically, be patient - we're a work in progress.
Translation: "I'm not going anywhere. This is where I'll retire. We're on the verge of building an incredible football program from top to bottom. Going to be a fun ride."
Interesting when he was asked (paraphrase): "Seemed like when you would adjust your play at the line, ND would immediately make adjustments to perfectly counter yours...is there something they did that you think other teams could learn from? And do you think you can fix it?"
Dino answered "Yes" and then intimated he could give a more technical answer but not in a press conference

It means we're not quite there yet, meaning we are not mature enough in the process of the rebuild where we can expect to play with and beat a team like that consistently especially on that type of big stage.> ND loss is just what happens when your team moves through stages.

This wasn’t a hot tub time machine by any chance was it?
