Dino's Week 6 Wake Forest Press Conference

Stephen Bailey ‏@Stephen_Bailey1
Dino Babers weekly news conference starting momentarily. Updates to come!

Syracuse coach Dino Babers said he spoke w/ Dave Clawson during BGSU transition. Got cliff notes on personnel more than scheme info.

Syracuse coach Dino Babers said his personnel situation limits what he can do defensively. That includes coverages in the secondary.

Dino: players need to focus on the process on a daily basis rather than worry about scoreboard.

Dino: fatigue isn't a big factor in dropped passes or skill guys, but it may be true for linemen who are just acclimating to starting role.

Dino: we're going to be in big games and be on big stages.

Syracuse coach Dino Babers: "I think the process is working." Knows everything isn't in place yet, but confident it will be.

"We're going into our sixth game so the freshmen are starting to get older and we've got to get them out there to get them experience."

"Obviously Wake Forest is a very confident team based on their record. They are a good unit and it's going to be a tough game."

"I thought our gap integrity was good from a defensive standpoint. I thought guys were in the right positions to have opportunities"

"I think we have an opportunity to be good. We're fighting uphill with injuries, but we have to circle the wagons and keep believing"

"Hopefully our guys are adjusting [to playing on big stage like MetLife] because we're going to be in bigger games on bigger stages to come.

"When it's all said and done you'll like the cake we're baking here. Right now is not the time to eat the batter." - @CoachBabersCuse
