Dion Waiter's Mid Season Sports Illustrated HM AA

Imagine how good our defense would be with Anthony Davis playing the 4. WOW

Any time you can go after a player described as long-armed and unibrowed you have to extend an offer.

I don't see the problem.

We have such balance offensively, we don't rely upon one player to be the focal point of the offense. It doesn't mean that guys like Kris or Dion aren't capable, just than they're both averaging around 13 points per game, which generally doesn't garner AA consideration.

I like what we've got. We know how good our guys are.

Exactly this ^^

I would also like to add that players from "more popular" programs (i.e., Duke, Kentucky, Kansas) often get the AA nod before players like Dion Waiters or Chris Joseph.

Big #'s plus big name school often leads to these types of accolades.

Funny on two teams they have 1 SG and 1 PG so they could be saying that Dion is basically one of the best handfull of gaurds in the country.

Was Chris Joseph even on that list? What school does he play for?

I think the only "balance" we have to find/develop is a little more inside presence -- either from Keita or Christmas. We don't need a lot of offense from one of these guys, but we need solid defense and rebounding to spell Fab, and eliminate the strategy of simply taking the ball at Fab to get him in foul trouble. Of the two, I would expect Baye to have the best chance to step up and help more than he currently is.
