Waiters also said he intends to finish his courses at Syracuse this semester.
“I’m going to take care of school and take care of my classes,’’ he said. “I’ll do the things I need to do.’’
Hopefully that turns out to be true. That could be one of his most important contributions ever.

What he has said has provided me, to a certain degree, with some minimal vindication. There have been posters saying that Dion had not be attending classes; that he would cut and run. I have said ... "No evidence of that". Hats off to Dion!!! He showed a dramatic turn-around at the beginning of the year. He led (Yes, led along with Scoop) to this team's most successful year since 2003. ... although at times we have all groaned a tad.
He has again shown how much he has grown an proven to be a class act. Yes,I believe he will finish the semester successfully... if not for the team but as much for himself.
Great luck in the future "Neon". Hope you end up in Philly.
