Direct Tv question for cornell game

it says chanel 636 for the game. tonight it is not showing the islander game, but have been told it will show on channel 636 because it is local? can anyone confirm or deny this report? do I need to upgrade to have this game on tv?

If you have the Sports Package with DirecTV...it has the game on Ch 628; 636-1; 643-1; 646; 658-1; 683; or 687...so pick one out and LGO

It is a must if you are outside upstate NY.

not sure about This game...but probably most of the other games, Yes. I've had the Sports Package for about 10 years, and watched about every game. And last 2 years, I did not have the ESPN Full Court plan and still watched just about every game.

If he's in upstate ny he won't need to get the package .
