I don't know why he turned down the Spurs...stupid stupid move. He could have been the next Gerald Green for them.

If he took that Spurs offer then he would've been stashed away overseas for a few years locked into one team who may or may not have any plans to keep him at all. At least now he's flexible to make any move that he wants and won't have to wait a couple of years to find himself in the same spot if he had accepted the alleged Spurs offer. I remember reading after the draft that a Spurs team source denied that the offer was even true but who knows.
