When he had the Bucs dive at the Giants offensive linemen's legs when they were running a victory formation play, it was pretty clear Shady's approach had two possible outcomes - either he was going to become a wildly successful Super Bowl winning coach, or he would become a punch line. It's pretty clear which way it's going (considering he was a horrible game day coach at Rutgers it was never really in doubt).

The problem with going out of your way to piss off literally every single human being that you come in contact with is that it eventually catches up to you. The idea that he can go back to college and recapture his mediocrity is dubious - he is far more radioactive now than he was at any point in his tenure at Rutgers, and he likely still has two months left to tarnish his reputation further in Tampa. Tampa letting him go now would be a mercy killing. I hope they don't because I'm enjoying every single article that bashes him and every Buc loss, and kicking him while he's down is a great way to recover from games like Saturday's... but it's probably the right thing for them to do.

I must admit that I didn't pay much attention to Schiano at Rutgers. I guess I am too Orange focused. However, his antics at Tampa opens my eyes at to how much a shady character he is.

For anyone to suggest he ever even gets an interview with us is silly.
