Great kid and great family. Well deserved on all accounts!

Met him on the field couple years back and he was fantastic with my then 7 or 8 year old that picked his line specifically. Had the pleasure of talking with his father while waiting to get onto the field as well and knew quickly that he planned to play vs just walking on and had the work rate to make it happen.

I liked that Dino talked a bit about the DL they got on campus but couldn't close on. They only wanted to bring in a DL transfer if they could start. If they couldn't get another DL starter, they'd go with what they have. The young guys are high energy. I'm glad Darton got his scholarship as he's shown that a walk-on can thrive, an important message in the NIL era.

Yup and they turn some transfers down they felt weren’t as good as the guys coming up.
