It actually seems like for the most part players’ parents that join the board stay here longer. Even though some of their interactions are inevitably poor.

I remember ALL of these guys. Its fun to get excited about a recruits potential. Its amazing how many guys don't pan out though for one reason or another. So many factors. But that's why you bring in almost another 25 guys every year to get excited about.

Does anyone remember the recruitment of Nduka Onyeali? DE from out west that Marrone/Shafer recruited about as hard as any prospect I can remember. Ultimately went to Arizona State and got kicked out.
