I agree that the team will still be very talented but we do lose a lot especially compared to the other ACC schools as Duke and UNC return almost everyone (on offense at least). We lose the entire starting attack, and 2 of our three close defenders and one starting SSDM. Now I think SU has enough pole depth to make up for it (Dwan will be a huge loss) and we bring in the top pole in the class but attack is a major question mark even with Deere returning. SU will almost certainly be looking for an Attackmen in the portal, in fact I assume it will be it's #1 priority/target. Assuming no one unexpected leaves that leaves you with Deere and I assume Anderson or Kraftson at attack with a third attackmen pending. Peck and Meyer are two big time recruits who will certainly be in the mix but I think SU will want a Veteran attack presence as part of the competition as well and Deere's injury makes him an unknown and he's not much of a dodging threat. Meyer burning his RS this year may come back to haunt us. Middie would be Hottle and then I assume some combo of McIntee, Hahn, Anderson if he's not attack McCarthy (assuming he's not at SSDM full time) with Rawson, Tucker, and one or two others in the mix. I believe Rayfield could play a role as well though I think he maybe moved to attack. Defensively I feel pretty good. Dwan and Beck are big losses but Fig will be back, CHuck K actually has two more years, SSDM bring back a lot of depth and you have Filardi with the rust knocked off. You bring in James who should have a chance to start right away plus you have D'Agostino and a few others I know the staff likes in Stephens and Cam Ryan (hurt) etc. You in theory also have Donny Scott assuming he is actually healthy which in 3 years to date he hasn't been. Jimmy is back and Johnny so ya a lot of really good players but Offense is definitely a concern.
