Being a few years removed from the daily interaction on the board (I only tend to read a handful of select threads here and there anymore), I think the fan base has changed a bit with regard to the critique of the team. I almost smiled when I saw following the Pitt game the reaction to the game Ishmael had despite the one bad drop. A few years ago, the commentary was along the lines of DI receivers can't drop a ball like that. I can't count the number of NFL games I watched during that time, seeing NFL receivers drop balls and laughing because of the expectations of a few on here that if you drop a ball you shouldn't be a DI football player.
