Not everyone panics, but certainly a good number of people, including your parents, which I am sorry to hear. I retired at 66 with happy anticipation. However, Coach is a horse of a different color. He is INTENSE about coaching. It is all he knows. He likes to golf but clearly does not relish the idea of, say, a tour of all the gulf courses in the world. When I was reading his comments I couldn’t help but think “panic attack.” I feel deep compassion for him, but I also think it is time for him to explore the brave new world of being an unemployed senior citizen. He might like it!
