Does any other team lay an egg at home more than SU?

That's what I love-- the constant moaning about attendance.

Let's see- barely beat Villanova, and then put up this performance.

It's not rocket science.

The issue is the casual fan. They are easily manipulated. We've done a great job and pushing them away so far.

It's that simple, right or wrong, and yet people still don't seem to get it.

I have student season tickets and I was gladly doing schoolwork this afternoon.

When we have a football product that's worth me giving up over 3 hours of my weekend to be in attendance for, let me know.

Hasn't been that way since 03'.

I go the other way. They're not manipulated, they're sophisticated consumers and the home product too often fails to meet their discerning tastes.

Like i've said before on here...i cannot justify driving 4 to 5 hrs from NYC each way with the current state of the football program. Just not an exciting product. I root for them. I watch every game. Just cant justify spending the money/time to see them live.

I thought the size of the crowd was decent today. Maybe 37K butts in seats. And those that were there were into it in the 1st half.

If we didn't keep vomiting all over ourselves maybe we'd draw the 6-8K more we need to get back to where we were in the 90s.

I thought the crowd was fine today, our program is not at stage where you can expect people to flock to the dome when there isn't that much of a reason to go. Barely beating nova at home, and beating C. Michigan isn't going to get many people excited about the program.

and people wonder why the attendance sucks...
And people why I gave up my season tickets and just take freebies or the $10 street tickets to just get in the door. Why pay big money to watch this team make you miserable? I go to every home game, but I often ask myself why! Had season tickets for about 30 years before giving them up, it's just not that enjoyable. You get the crazy BC or Nova finish every now and then and its fun for what it is or the L'ville blowout game...but more times than not it's just painful to watch this team at home.

When it was 31-13 I felt like I just wasted my whole Saturday. I don't mind the losing as much as I mind the blowout losses and just poor level of play in general.

Does an team's fan base have as many front running losers like SU?

What reason has this team shown to the 80,000 fans who attended the first two home games that would want them to come back? You can't crap the bed in both of your home games if you want people to come to games. This team was not prepared again today to play.

We were so close. Win this game and the casual fan is back into it. Now all we get to hear for next several weeks is what we are reading here.

Well we lost. And that's what matters.
