I mean seriously, that’s the deal.  Our only significant tradition is hanging in the rafters because some moron decided to retire it as a marketing gimmick during a crappy season.

So what will make the difference?

Have a HC who is BOTH charismatic and a good X’s and O’s Coach.  And provide him the resources to hire a quality staff with a major emphasis on line coaches.  If we need to put our limited resources all in one basket that’s it.

You do this, you’ll get the players, which will bring the wins, which will bring the fans, which will bring more NIL, which will bring more players, and so on, and so on.   But you have to INVEST in it.  Spend money to make money.

Why can Louisville and Pitt pay $5.5-6m per year for a HC but Syracuse only $4m.  That’s what we should really be challenging as a fan base.
