Losing McNamara was huge as he would have helped Bell and others with their shooing issues. Assistant and Associate Coaches Matter.

Red is going to see a year three. So, the next best thing to do is to hire a former veteran respectable head coach and make him the Associate Coach, so that he can work with and teach Red how to coach.  It is not a sign of disrespect for Red as we see that even in the NBA, there are many very good former head coaches who are assistant coaches. Just keeping things as is and bringing in “better talent” next year will make little or no difference.
