They won't get a top prospect or a top player for Gardner. What would you give up to get him?

what would you give up to get gardner, sanchez and a lower level prospect? Would you give up ivan nova? Why would any team? Plus, everyone knows the yanks have to trade gardner.

If they don't trade Gardner then they have to just release Ichiro and Wells most likely. No need for 6 outfielders.

Still think they trade Gardner in a package deal for someone, keep Ichiro as a 4th/5th outfielder and probably kick Wells to the curb

They dont have to trade Gardner, especially with all the injuries they had last year and older players they have this year. Nova is still under team control, you're looking for someone who has a decent sized contract teams are looking to move. Even a 3b with the same issue that a team would want to fast track a prospect behind them

Yanks don't have to trade Gardner. They can play him in LF. If/When A-ROD gets a 1 year suspension then Soriano is your DH most days. And you have Irchio as your 4th outfield who can play RF, LF, and CF giving guys the necessary days off when needed.
