NCAA rules.

1 HC and 9 assistants.

Defensive oriented HC hires a DC from outside.

That would mean 6 of 9 coaches, SS and CB, TD, SM, DH, and JA, still on staff are defensive oriented.

That can't hold.

That could definitely be the case, but I think it's pretty typical to have four assistants on the D side of the ball, and I think those are the numbers we'll see.

Anselmo retires...
Henderson shuffles off to Buffalo...

Those are the two obvious developments.

I think you'll see a 1-4-4-1.

Henderson, most likely goes to Buffalo or is not asked back.

Doaust, Morrison stay on and Bullough hires one of his guy to be the secondary coach.

Ansmelo stays on for a year as Asst. HC and make transition easier. Also, introduces all new coaches to NYC coaches, keep connection alive.

HOPEFULLY, Wheatley, Moore and Adkins (Wheatley and Adkins more importantly) stay. The new OC works with QBs.
- More than likely however, I think that atleast 1 0f 3 offensive guys leave, probably 2 of 3.

It could be ok. 4 def assistants, which is what we have. Anselmo on specials. Just need to hire an OC. I think we all have the feeling there will be other changes. But as a math exercise we're only an OC short of full staff.

I doubt JA would have much to do with the D if he sticks around.

I can see Anselmo being named associate head coach and helping manage day to day operations.
