Rag on them as you may... but I challenge you to find another college (or pro) team serving WINE SLUSHIES in the backcourt. A bargain at $7.00... delicious... and a perhaps huge selling point for the lady in your life who may not want to trek to the Dome.

For those who enjoy an alcoholic beverage with their sporting event, we are seriously spoiled at Syracuse.
Fans were complaining all night last night about the lack of beer at BC. (And at almost every other college venue)

Meanwhile, the Dome continues to upgrade. Beer lines are never long anymore as they've opened so many portable locations. And there are options for those who choose to seek them out.

And most of all... prices are a bargain for a sporting event!

There was some legit CNY winery apparently running the stand. I forget the name.
Was with 3 other guys and all agreed the wine slushie was the best thing to happen in the Dome backcourt.

I wonder if this would change if we get a new sporting venue. From what I understand, we were basically grandfathered in Asa far as alcohol sales go , when we entered he ACC. It is against ACC rules to sell alcohol at sporting venues. Maybe we better just stick with the dome.

Dome concessions...

blow.

Can't get enough dome dogs though.

That's not true, per this article:

SU’s decision to move to the Atlantic Coast Conference should not affect the school’s decision to sell beer at home games, as the ACC leaves it up to the schools to sell beer during athletic events or not.

Wow.. Have to check that out. I hope they have a nice Pinot Noir slushy! ;)

I don't think that's true. Miami sells booze.

I think for next year they should serve Trevor Conies. There Dome marketing. Run with that!

No, no, no... that would be an NCAA violation with a penalty of one year of no alcohol sales... and no wine slushies ever!!

Made with genuine pure white Syracuse snow!

Syracuse and their wine slushies, I believe the State Fair had a wine slushie tent, though for some reason I'm having trouble remembering...

Agreed.

The advertising sign for them made it look huge (like 12 or 16 oz) so I wasn't expecting much in the way of flavor (like a wine cooler maybe) but it was small (like a real wine glass serving) and rather potent tasting. The girls loved it, too.
