To be clear, my post wasn't pro George / anti JJ. George has been incredibly disappointing.

His PER this year is 12.1 and his TS% is 50% (looks VERY similar to JJ, right?). And PER does favor bigs without questions so both guys are climbing a bit of an uphill battle in getting to what is supposed to be being an average player in a PER of 15.0.

George got the keys to the car and hasn't delivered. He is definitely a significant contributor to where we are as a team in terms of the players' culpability. To your point, George seems more natually a lead guard, but if he's not playing well, we only have so many combinations of guys to use.

One shout though re George, he has never been a giant guy with efficiency. His career PER and TS% are hovering right around JJ's career numbers. What I was hoping for that even with that inefficiency, he could still raise up the guys around him being a more natural lead guard vs JJ who is more of a scoring guard first (kind of in the D Wade mold of guards).
