Outside of my being an SU fan, it's those types of calls that the rules are trying to change.

You want to reward the aggressive offensive play and make defenders start playing legit defense.

Whatever you feel about the Xmas block call from our first game, that is the type of defense you want to see - two guys going aggressively at each other, rather than someone trying to take a charge.

Taking a charge in basketball is almost as unmanly as that stupid offside call in soccer. The offensive player is initiating action and unless the charge is obvious , it should be called in favor of the creator of action.
