Boston-area offensive lineman left program after just a few months

CHAMPAIGN - True freshman offensive lineman [URL='http://www.At their request, this network is being blocked from this site./player/195443-eddy-fish'][U]Eddy Fish[/U][/URL] left the Illinois football program in early October, the team confirmed to Illini Inquirer.

The Boston-area offensive lineman decommitted from Boston College last January and signed under former Illini head coach [B]Bill Cubit[/B]. He suffered a shoulder injury during fall camp and had not played a game yet this season.

The 6-foot-6, 310-pound offensive tackle was considered a developmental project. He has Big Ten size but has only played football for two years.
