just wanted to let y’all know first that I will be up on campus in June! Preciate you guys for all the love!
If you're really Jowhar, welcome. Thank you for giving us a shot. You clearly have MANY opportunities. Hopefully Dino shows you that we have a different culture here. We're building something here.

Did we make his top 3. I mean if he is coming it seems we did.

my top 3 is based off schools that have been recruiting me the heaviest. Syracuse is kind of a newer school in the mix. So I’m just willing to see what Syracuse has to offer! My old head coach Rodney Wells played at Syracuse so it’s like an automatic bond with Syracuse

That is good to hear.

Syracuse is the best place on earth. You will fall in love with the city and campus and find your wife here and this is where you will raise your children.

Jowhar, first of all -- best of luck to you, you've got a big decision ahead, and you can't go wrong with options like the ones you have available to you.

Glad to hear that Rodney Wells [one of my favorite former 'Cuse players] speaks favorably of his alma mater! Our coach is a really impressive man, and he's building something special here at Syracuse. We went to a bowl last year, and with the QBs we have the program is positioned for long term success.

We use our Defensive Line to wreak havoc. We recruit athletes, and in the 3-3-5 DL aren't pigeon holed into just one role. Guys line up inside AND outside, pass rush comes from all over the place, and the defensive coordinator we have is considered the guru of this style of defense [Rocky Long].

Unlike Clemson, OSU, and Tennessee, we haven't landed too many blue chip defensive tackles. Someone with your skill set and physical tools would not only be positioned to make a big impact right away, but would help the defense go to the next level. We're LOADED at linebacker and in the secondary, as well, so the guys behind you in the back 7 are impressive. We've put a lot of defensive players in the NFL in recent years, and I expect that to continue going forward.

Oh, and we took a 6-0 record down to Clemson last year, and almost beat them -- were it not for a couple of costly calls that went against us. We HAD them.

Glad to hear you're coming up to visit this month -- good luck with your decision!

You mentioned Clemson, check out the last 3-4 games we played them.. we play them super tough and could have and probably should have beaten them at least once maybe twice. Bad no call roughing the passer and D-line got tired. That's why we would love your services. Come and be the anchor in the middle of a awesome Defense
