If you read this article, it shows that Duke has lost 4 to the portal, and 2 to enter the NBA draft with the possibility of 3rd. They lost 4 of 6 of their freshman class. Only 10 on the current roster. A lot of similarities to SU. Of course there is probably a big difference in the talent level of those 10. But considering that SU faired better than Duke last, you can never tell what will happen. Just saying.

They always reload but really haven't done much with the one and dones. This day in age, I'd prefer 1 5 star and a bunch of 4 stars who stay 2-4 years.

The "reload" last year didn't help them much. 6 kids, a top 10 class and didn't make the tourny. AND lost 4 of those 6. This quick turnaround of 5 star kids could be why JB doesn't push hard for them.
