Anyway, with a new D line, they will be run over by our experienced O-line and running backs.  Our guys will be averaging large chunks and we could see three separate guys with 100 yard games, though our game is in November and by then the Dukies may have gelled.  Fresh meat for our big uglies and RB crew, our running game has a good day, either way.

If their QB situation is such that they will use the short yardage, ball control, it will be interesting to see how they respond to the attacking defense and stunting blitzes HCSS and now Mr. Bullouch (sp?) are known for.  If they can be quick and the QB is decisive, he may do well but I still think the variety of blitzes and stunts mess with the QB's head and we throw off the game.

Their running game may be the key to their game versus our Orange.  They have experience and our D line will be less experienced.  I like our chances, but that is based more on HCSS and crew's philosophy of player development than any particular Duke shortfall.  If there is one stat that sticks out it is that they averaged 178 yards/game and our D practices against our running backs and experienced O-line.

Syracuse wins by 14.  Unfortunately, it is not the record breaking crowd like the hoops game.
