The Cameron Crazies - how will they act tonight? Will they taunt the team or Pitino? If so, how might the Ville react? It could go either way: it unglues them - OR - they play like their hair is on fire! couchburn

Is it possible that the Crazies would NOT taunt, and treat this game like any other? If so, would they miss this opportunity to "help" their team?

What is the "right" thing to do?
 
I don't think that K will let it get out of hand. He's all for them being loud and maybe even obnoxious, but he doesn't like it when they get too personal.

They will undoubtedly taunt. The Dukies will behave in the only way they know, a bunch jack donkies.

Just imagine a free throw distraction. Instead of one based on birth it will be the question at hand!
 
I'm sure the ESPN censors will be there to remove any offending signs people bring in. I'm sure they'll have a field day with granny-style Onuaku.
ESPN can't stop the chants, I'm sure they figure out something good.
 
Coach K will let the taunting persist for quite a while, and then he will step in after a while. He will be hailed as a class act for stepping in. But a real class act would step up immediately.

Jason Williams just said at halftime that Thornton had to re-classify and he came in at 16 and is now 17. WHAT? He was born on May 30, 1997. Do the math. What a dolt.
 
This seems to have been a non-issue. Crazies are per usual. Louisville is off their stride, but I don't think it's because of them.
 
I could be wrong, but I feel like the Duke student section while obnoxious, is pretty harmless. I've heard of way worse stuff, like the Maryland student section throwing batteries at the Duke bench.

Like I thought it was pretty funny when they were chanting "take off your jacket!" to Boeheim and he did it.

Louisville might win this and that will tie us with Duke in the standings. Go Ville
 
How many years would Duke make the tournament if they didn't have the refs in their pocket?

Unlike the BF situation where ESPN was probably handing out signs just to make us suffer.

Just once I would love Duke to go to the Yum and have a completely one sided game called against them just so Duke fans can learn how to scream at the TV like we do!

Sorry, I can't go there. I hate Duke. Nothing I love more than seeing Duke lose at Cameron. My problem with Cameron is the opponent's bench is within spitting distance of the Duke fans. I'm sorry, but if we had our student section 3 feet behind our opponents bench screaming at the visitors the whole game we would also have advantage. There's a point when the unsportsmanlike behavior changes a sporting event to championship wrestling spectacle or a Big Truck rally. Duke home games are designed for maximum humiliation of the visitors. They are all a bunch of classless a holes.

Oh my goodness, you don't think Duke fans scream at the TV? (I know you do.) Like all fans everywhere, Duke fans believe they get unjust calls. There is no such thing as a fan who believes the refs always get it right. After all, the refs robbed them of two games against Syracuse!

Believe me, they suffer. (Just wanted to make you happy).

I agree. But you have to admit some of the way the Yum games are called at Louisville are just beyond normal referee outrage.
 
Grayson Allen's a dirtbag. That was a dirty play. I'm sure the ACC will let him skate.

I'm pretty pumped to go to Louisville next week, I think we can knock em off.
