There are a lot of people jumping to serious conclusions based upon some ambiguous statements from the coaches.
 
Let's see what Hunt can do in the new offense before penciling someone else in as his replacement.  And I'm not huge on Hunt's upside.  I AM on Dungey's, but hate to see a year squandered.  Somebody mentioned Drew Allen above--know how we got into that situation?  Because we lacked depth and talent at QB after Nassib, and had to resort trying to catch lightning in a bottle to overcome that deficiency.  And now people want to squander a year of a potential stud QBs career?  That's what's really crazy.
 
If this kid is better than Hunt, and ready to play [U]unlike the vast majority of incoming true frosh QBs[/U], then by all means play him and start him.  But I think a far more likely outcome is that Hunt will prove to be adequate in the new system, Dungey--if he gets any playing time beyond a few token snaps--will see those snaps in the first 2 or 3 games of the season, and that's about it, and that Dungey will prove to not be ready for prime time, like most true frosh QBs.
