[QUOTE="Shark58, post: 1484114, member: 4746"] damn you for making me respond to that on their board: ~~~~~~ of course, all the vitriol and especially the over the top comments about 44’s fam are horrible and should be condemned by anyone reasonable. posters like that are an embarrassment to the fan base, but all fan bases have their nut jobs. I hate ours, and don’t like the things they post, but I have no control over it. (<- that is a rational thought from a realistic fan) the vitriol, while overblown and with piss poor manifestation, is well earned at its core. unless you are a pure homer (which apparently most CMU fans are, truthfully, why else would you watch one of their games?) how could you not question the hit? as detailed above, 44 clearly came late and hadn’t even started his "football play" when the ball came out. what is not mentioned above is that this is only one part of an obvious dirty play, and just one of several dirty plays in the game from CMU. On this one in particular, not only does 44 come late and helmet-to-helmet, and also arguably gives a cheap shot kick at the end, but 42 goes out of his way to hold and twist Dungey’s leg. Again, this was just one of several plays where CMU players came in late and helmet-to-helmet. It is 100% understandable (at least for anyone rational) to question if this is systematic of your new coach’s teachings (you can’t know since its not like he’s got a long track record). I haven’t watched any of your games ever except the 2 against my team. I have no idea if you are (now) a dirty program, but as a fan base you should all be disgusted by what is going on and demand change if it really is reflective of how your program is being run. Now, we all know the NCAA is stupid (otherwise they would already have a mechanism in place to fairly suspend a kid multiple games for a POS play like that) so nothing will be done on that front. It will get no national attention with SU being a very down program and with no one caring at all about your directional mid major (harsh but true). The only ones who stand a chance at making sure your program is run with dignity and class are you few who vocally care, but instead you choose to focus on moronic fans who try to torment a kid who made a POS play on the social media accounts that he and school made public (ergo, not one of the SU moron fans "outed" anything) and justifying that by SU player/coach statements that could more easily be read as taking the high road than by condoning the very questionable (at best) to directly instructed by your POS coach (more likely than not) actions that occurred in the field. in summary: SU has moron fans that did some disgusting things on the internet. Conversely, CMU had several borderline-to-blatant dirty plays that really gives the impression that your coaching staff and playing for the injuries. Our fans tried to hurt your teams feelings. Your TEAM actively tried to injure ours IN REAL LIFE, WITH REAL LIFE DANGEROUS PLAYS, THAT RESULTED IN REAL PHYSICAL INJURIES.
