It funny ,I came to the board to say that much has been spoken about DC2 but that not so much about Jeremi Grant and the first thing I see is that he is espn2 tonight . great and thanks. I want to see this kid on the floor rather than videos. Should be good He might give ZCZJ a run for his money for a starting position.next season.SUball Much depends on Fab and or Noel. I prefer Noel who would come in far more polished. Noel DC2 and Fair on the front court would make for few balls hitting the floor I would have to presume.

Hope Grant has a nice game, but GO Eagles (Gonzaga)

I know one of the Asst. Coaches at Gonzaga. He promises a win.

I was looking over Grant's stats for the year. He's averaging 12.5 points per game and as a wing he is only averageing .5 rebounds per game and his free throw percentage is 54%. Not exactly Mikey D's type numbers. I don't know what other people on the board were groaning about with respect to him being left off the MickeyD roster.
It gives one pause to wonder with Syracuse historically being challanged at the stripe and this years team's inability to secure rebounds both offensive and defensive

Flacusian, not disputing, but ESPNs stats for Grant were 15 pts & 9.7 brds / game.

Tuned in now. Looking forward to seeing him play.

And the Pitt recruit gets tossed. He will fit right into that program!

Tell him to tell Nate britt to change his commitment to su. Kid is awesome!

Only caught the end, looks like he had a nice stat line, and one nice block and shortly thereafter a dunk that I was able to catch.

Are they replaying the game on any of the ESPN channels?

Well that is great news! The stats that I saw posted were from DeMatha's team page on Maxpreps. It didn't seem plausable that his rebound avg was .5 Thanks for the more reliable info. He looked great in the game against Gonzaga. He really came alive in the 3rd and 4th quarter after their point guard got ejected after a double technical. He threw the ball off an opponents back after a call. Really poor judgement and sportsmanship. He is headed to Pitt. HMMMM... no comment.

Grant looked real good tonight! Much more aggressive than the game a couple weeks ago. He's got great quickness. Played outstanding defense on Ganzaga's Kris Jenkins a big scorer and high level recruit. Has nice mid range jumper. AND HE CAN MAKE FREE THROWS. Amazing. He will develop into a real good player at Cuse.

I was thoroughly impressed with his performance, long lanky defender had some blocks, what I really liked was his ability to drive to the hoop...He has a nice looking shot but it just didnt fall.

Anya looked like a man amongst boys down there...

Anya is a player. Wow. Very impressed with Grant as well. Going to be a good player for us.

GrAnt looks solid ..not sure why but Anya doesnt impress me much. He seems slow

Jerami Grant is the nephew of Horace Grant, power forward on the Chicago Bulls during their title runs. Jerami's father, Harvey, is Horace's identical twin. Harvey had some good years in the NBA as well. If pedigree means anything, Jerami should get us some boards. Horace was a beast.

Yep I think we know the family tree here pretty well.

Grant played very well...reminded me...dare I compare to Harris from TN...he played on top of key a good deal; has a very good handle; can drive and finish and has a soft jumper from 17 ft. He needs to build his body from lithe to more muscular...but he reminds me more of a KJ and CJ wing than a PF.
Was wondering with him on offense on top of key passing and dribbling if he is a true point forward...when PG Robinson went out with two Ts, Grant the ball in his hands quite a bit...he is smooth...if his genes are like the Grants' NBA career, he should turn into a rebound machine also...glad he 'Cuse

Loved his defense, he pretty much shut down Gonzaga's best offensive player. That kind of play will get him on the floor early.

Yes he did. Looks like he can block some shots too.
