I was thinking the same thing. They literally have no one returning in a conference that has always been pretty even; they will not be anywhere near the top in 2012. She also says that SU is at the bottom because they lose their three best defensive players...how about all of the depth and talent that SU has moving up and saw a ton of playing time last year? We might just have the best LB corps in the Big East along with our secondary most likely being much improved from 2011. Our DL will suffer at the End, but we are upgrading the DT, so where is the issue with the defense? Let's be honest, Bailey is not nearly as big of a loss as Carter was with plenty of backs coming back that have seen a good amount of playing time. The offensive line returns the left side to protect Nassib's blind side, and we should see an upgrade over Tiller at least with Mackey only being able to get better. Lemon is back at receiver along with Sales (hopefully) which again is an upgrade. Nassib is the second best QB in the league by and far no matter how you spin it. A solid 7-5 or 8-4 is very much so possible behind West Va (who will run away with the league) and Louisville. Rutgers' defense will be good, but their offense looks like it will be lost without Sanu.
