Is it me, or is anybody else shocked by the amount of people that go crazy over our guys that leave early? Everybody makes it seems like it's just Syracuse kids that leave early every year. That couldn't be further from the case. This isn't a Syracuse problem, it's a national problem. What do you think Cal fans are saying about Christrian Behrens, who declared after averaging 4.5ppg and 3rbs? The examples are endless. As of right now there are 14 early entries for this years draft, and that's just the very beginning because last year there were 44 early entries.
Here is the 2015 list so far. Tell me which of these kids are ready to go pro? http://www.cbssports.com/collegebas...arly-entry-list-whos-staying-and-who-is-going Hell, i'd even say McCoullough has the most upside out of all of them, minus Myles Turner.
And then you have the 2014 list. Just glancing over the list i'd say not even 25% of them are currently on NBA rosters. http://www.cbssports.com/collegebas...arly-entry-list-whos-staying-and-who-is-going
This is just the way college basketball is these days. It's also the reason why college basketball is borderline unwatchable, but that's a discussion in it's own way. Again, I just don't get how people seem to think this is just a Syracuse problem when it obviously effects everybody.
