Is tomorrow... pretty quiet about it.

As much as I see the need for the early signing period, I feel like it took some zip away from the old process...

There was nothing like signing say, I remember sitting in my office refreshing the old Skowt page, even Rivalz every minute waiting for another message or another commitment.

The other thing I miss is the old surprise commits, the age of social media has pretty much destroyed that. But I guess you still get decisions on signing day.

For a long time, this was literally one of my favorite days of the year. Looking forward to tomorrow.

who signs and who doesn’t tomorrow team?

Gotta believe we get the 19 we are expecting. The question to me is, do we add someone else that we had on ice, in case we lost someone? Did we have a contingency plan?

At one point, it was reported that we offered Eric O’Neill, a DE out of Staten Island. Maybe this opens a spot for him, or some other DE we were interested in?

Figure we stick at 19. With the transfer portal this gives us flexibility to bring in players that may be ready to compete immediately.

Only losing 1 ( Nelson ) out of 21 is a very good sign considering the awful season we had , the only thing that has me a little edgy is right now is ( Moss ) waiting until february to sign that seems a bit odd to me I hope I am wrong.

This is both good and bad for teams (the early NSD). Given that in a normal year many programs are still competing for bowls and what not, several coaches could get fired after NSD now and leave kids locked into programs they no longer want to be at.

For us, hopefully we get everyone still on board tomorrow and we can breathe easy having these kids locked in.
