Ed Hendrix Having Surgery... Out for season

According to his Instagram he is having surgery done today. Tough break for a guy I was really looking forward to seeing. I think he could have earned some playing time this season down the road. I would imagine he will redshirt.

Threads with just players names instantly has me thinking the worst of all situations lol. That is a bummer, good thing is he probably was a planned redshirt anyways.

depending on the surgery, it could be clean up? with the RS rules he could just play a couple on the back end of the season if healthy..

Any idea what the injury is? If a meniscus, he could be back for the tail end of the season.

He's been injured since training camp.

If he hasn't practiced all year, why rush him back?

He won't believe it but I think this is a good break for him. He can spend his first year in college getting stronger, learning the plays, learning technique and focusing on academics.

Next season, he will be ready to dominate from day one.

Just hurts his feelings more. Hate injuries. Don’t want any kid hurt. Well especially the good ones.
