I was unable to attend today but, my brother sent me a text message before the game with a picture of him and none other than Ed O! He was apparently there with Miami recruits.  Just thought it was crazy considering he is 5 years removed from coaching LSU to the national title.

Prior to cutting to Syracuse game, USC upset Clemson and they were interviewing an emotional coach beemer. He was gracious saying “I hope Syracuse beats Miami and Clemson goes and wins the ACC title game!” Then when asked about his team, he says “this kid is the best player in the country.” He was referring to former Syracuse commit Lanorris Sellers. Sellers is no doubt a special prospect and anyone who followed his recruiting thread, knew I was extremely high on him as a prospect.

I can’t emphasize enough how great of a job the coaches did figuring out special teams as it became clear we had some major flaws earlier in the year. Righting the special teams ship helped secure this 9-win season.

McCord- what is left to say? He’s the best pure passing qb we’ve probably ever had. His stable of weapons and OL deserve a tip of the cap. I was afraid we would be way too run heavy prior to the year but Fran and OCJN leaned into their strength and we finished with more passing yards than any team in the country.

Shout out to Moelo who switched to DL when injuries struck over there. Great job young man.

This off season should be a little less chaotic than last year but man, it feels good to head into an offseason with tangible evidence that we have the guy at HC!
