That being said: I don't believe Orgeron has even been contacted by Coyle due to the fact that Orgeron publicly stated he would have high interest in the job. Usually when a coach has been contacted about a coaching job, and the media brings it up to them, they blatantly lie and state that "School Y has not been in touch with me, and at this time I'm only interested in being the coach here at school B" We've heard it time and time again from h.c's and assistant coaches, only to read on the ESPN ticker 12 hrs later that the same coach was just announced as the new coach at school B.

Orgerons comments felt more to me like a public announcement that he would like to coach here, or at least be considered. He is after all going to need a job once Miles is bought out. I feel if Coyle had contacted him, and he was a serious candidate, that he would have recited the typical line from above.

Maybe Ed. has a different way of doing things than others though...
