He was overwhelmed. He did a great job amassing talent,l because Houston Nutt won immediately. But Orgeron could not organize himself to win. His time as SC interim HC may well have provided the testing under fire that means he could be a top HC. Orgeron at Ole Miss spoke well of his time as Syracuse DL coach, so I think he may really want the HC job there. I agree with those who say there is no way Orgeron goes to Syracuse as a DC.
