Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko announced Monday the hiring of Elijah Robinson as the Aggies' co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach.

Very classy move. That’s the kind of guy who I’d want my kid to play for. I wish it worked out here, but I hope he has a tremendous amount of success at Texas A&M.

This is a killer move for them.

They get a guy that has proven he can succeed there in the ideal role for him, with the benefit of him having two years of experience as defensive coordinator.

Bittersweet feelings for sure, I mean I know both Fran and Elijah dreamed of accomplishing greatness together (you never know down the road), 2024 was special though. Although, a rare care of fans expectations were exceeded, but for the team they fell short. Happy for Elijah that he gets to go back to Texas A&M over the other options, they seem to love him there and Mike Elko seems like a great guy to work for.

getting the co defensive coordinator role is more than what I was expecting and he probably got paid a lot to return. He seemed loved there too so good for him. Never heard one bad thing about the guy ever when he was here. Good for him
