The next play out of the huddle, Gerry does exactly what his coach tells him to do and proceeds to lead his team to a pretty easy win after it had been close to that point.

As we noticed from Gerry during his freshman year, he was quiet in his demeanor and approach but was beyond his years in terms of the way he played.

I'm not suggesting Eric will have the impact on the football program that Gerry did for the basketball team, but we can certainly hope that he comes close.
